      Release Cadence

      Following the Continuous Delivery model, releases are delivered as soon as they meet our quality standards. Every calendar year, one existing release is elected to become the LTSB which will also receive patches until the next LTSB has been elected.

      Two release tracks are therefore maintained simultaneously:

      • Latest

        • Features

        • Patches

      • LTSB

        • Patches

      Switching to the “Latest” is possible at any point in time, from there on keeping up-to-date will be required to keep patch support.

      We make use of manual and automated QA processes to ensure any release we ship meets our internal quality standards.

      Each LTSB version will reach the end of support three months after a new LTSB version has been elected.
