Sharepoint Online OAuth Migration

INCOMPATIBILITY ALERT: PLEASE NOTE THAT SHAREPOINT EVENTS ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH OAUTH2 CONNECTIONS.

To get started, open the Configuration Wizard, navigate to the External Services tab, and fill in the Default Client ID of your Azure App in SharePoint Online OAuth 2.0 as shown below:

Tip: To use multiple configurations for different environments, click Add SharePoint Online Client and configure a new Client ID.

 

After you configured your default Client ID, you can map a Business Entity inside FireStart just like before. In the Authentication field, select OAuth 2.0 Password Authentication.

Tip: You can also paste a Client Id inside the Client Id field, this way you can quickly configure different apps for different servers.

 

To allow the application to add/update entities in SharePoint Online, add the following SharePoint permissions to your Azure application and press the Grant admin consent button.
