FireStart Patch Release 2022.1.1

Features

  • Navigation ribbon menu was added again. [20602]
  • Import/Export for Connections and Credentials: If a connectionId already exists when a connection is imported, the existing connection properties are used. The imported properties are ignored.
  • Embedded browser controls were updated to use the WebView2 runtime (which is used for Edge) instead of the outdated Internet Explorer embedded browser.

Improvements

  • Improved recognizability for read-only vs. editable fields in task forms. [20297]
  • Improved caching of OAuth Tokens which caused a too many requests exception as a new token was requested too often in certain cases. [20911]
  • Added support for MariaDB databases as Business Entity mapping source. [20988]
  • Business Entity occurrences are sorted alphabetically everywhere they show up now.
  • Updated the Teams manifest file to comply to the updated schema and be valid again. [21066]
  • Improved the error logging when either multiple items were selected or no item was selected even though exactly one selected item was needed.
  • Improved the usability of the column resize functionality of the name column in all designers. [21194]

Bugfixes

  • Fixed an issue where activity input values were cut for the InsertInto DB Activity [18953]
  • Fixed a minor display issue when custom date formats were used. [20381]
  • Fixed an issue where the element numbering would be wrong if the view was switched during the modelling process. [20313]
  • Fixed an issue that would occur when a case sensitive Database was used as the target of a Business Entity mapping. The same issue also occurred when a case sensitive database was the target of a SQL table watcher. [20713, 21011, 21005, 21008]
  • Fixed a rare issue where the email address of the user in charge user was not a link and could not be clicked. [207474]
  • Fixed an issue where the value of the separator BusinessEntity Field was not correctly resolved in the ReadCSV Activity causing the columns not being loaded correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the warning sign that indicates a missing field mapping in a task form would disappear when switching back an forth between forms/form tabs. [20827]
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to still see and start processes in the ProcessPortal even though the process was no longer published. [20900]
  • Fixed a minor display issue which would display the lines completely messed up and not where they should be. [20925]
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent the download of attachments because of a 401 Unauthorized error for SharePoint Online attachments when OAuth was used for authentication. [20937, 20924, 21044]
  • Fixed an issue where SharePoint Events would cause an error if a certain character threshold for multiline text fields was reached (~7,2k characters). [20683]
  • Fixed an issue where the selection of a dropdown would be lost when switching back and forth between forms/form tabs. The output of the dropdown had to be number field.
  • Fixed an issue where line breaks contained in business entity fields and workflow variables would not be recognized in the SendMail and SendMeeting Request activities. [20977]
  • Fixed an issue where the ConfigWizard would crash if only the Remote Event Receiver was installed.
  • Fixed an issue that would cause an error when trying to provide a custom primary key for a table in the business entity mapping view. [21114]
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the client to crash when the loop config was opened when business entities with relations were referenced in the process. [21198]
  • Fixed an issue with the GetGroupsFromUser Activity where the LDAP string input validation failed if a variable was used. Additionally, using the login name now works correctly again. [21148]
  • Fixed the subscribe/unsubscribe button for model notifications in the client to work correctly again.
  • Fixed various client crashes detected by crash detections.
