FireStart LTSB Release 2022.2

This new release changes the prerequisites, improves the way information is displayed and fixed several bugs.

New Features

  • Added a new Reporting API tailored specifically for reporting tools/services.

Improvements

  • Added an additional column to the Workflows view in the Client showing how long a workflow is already running. [21259]

  • Added a confirmation toast message when user permissions got added/updated.

  • Migrated all our existing .NET Core applications, namely the FireStart IdentityServer, FireStart RemoteEventReceiver and FireStart RemoteAgent, to .NET 7.0. The relevant hosting bundle can be found here.

  • Improved the connection/credential template handling in the background. (no visual changes).

  • Changed the default logging setting for the FireStart Identity Server to only report warnings or error instead of almost everything. [21443]

  • Improved the display of shape elements in the Process Portal to reduce visual differences between the Client and the Process Portal. [20444]

Fixed Bugs

  • Changing the connection template would also change the selected template in copied elements. [21279]

  • Trying to import a model caused an error that prevented the import. [21416]

  • Dropdown selection was lost when using the same dropdown configuration in a follow-up task. [21369]

  • Organization chart view would be displayed differently in the Process Portal compared to the client. [21167]

  • Call Rest Web Service Activity would not correctly process multiple files when used in an attachment field. [21265]

  • Adding a comment to a workflow in the Process Portal would not work and caused an error.

  • Fixed detected crashes when:

    • reloading a worfklow/model

    • moving the minimap/moving the client to a different monitor

    • trying to access references which do not exist anymore
